Category: DynAPI 2 Browser-Specific Group: None >Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Leo Leinenga (leinenga) Assigned to: Richard Bennett (richard_bennett) Summary: Flash object in pushpanel ns6 Initial Comment: Hi, When you take the example of the pushpanel and change the labelcontent so that is contains a flash object. It will work fine in IE and NS4 but not in NS 6 In NS 6.0 the flash object will scroll up, outside of the pushpanel over the entire window. In NS 6.1 the flash object will not scroll at all. The text content will scroll underneath the flash object. Is there a solution? The problem you are having is not with DynAPI, but with Netscape's (and Mozilla's) inability to use wmode=transparent successfully. See: http://kirupa.com/developer/flash5/dhtmlflash.asp The only solution I see , is that you hide the flash-movie when the pushpanel is scrolled (like happens in NS4 now for some reason) Richard. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Leo Leinenga (leinenga) Date: 2001-10-25 00:51 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=351795 I will submit an example of a page with a flashobject. The flash object should be in the same dir as the testflash.htm. Maybe the path to the dynapi needs to be changed. I hope this is helpfull and I hope the bug can be fixed.
