I believe we can host it on sourceforge (I've seen another project that uses it).
It does have major advantages over the sf bug tracker in that you can track bugs for different dynapi versions, as well as platforms and browsers. So when a user post a bug, you will know what browser/system they have. This will allow bugs to be solved faster.
