And why is that?
Why do I have to wait for CVS?
Someone has the code.. just post the damned archive to the list and be done
with it..
I don't intend to go on a bug hunt..
I just want to start using it and start porting some of my (and other
people's) widgets.

Don't take this the wrong way but; this is why DYNAPI will never make it
bigtime.
There is no real coordination. No real effort to get anyhting done..
This DynAPI 2.9 or whatever has been in the works for damn near a year, and
I have yet to actually see it.

Ever hear the term 'vapor-ware'?

Again.. I'm not flaming anyone in particular here, I'm just annoyed is all.
DynAPI has such potential to revolutionalize a very large segment of the web
market..
and not just in web sites.

I have been invloved for so long, and put in so much work, and have seen
virtually no real advancment since
we went to 2.0.

We do have a VERY good thing here.. if netPCS had not gone under we would
have a multi-million dollar communications application (think ICQ, but purly
web-based) with thousands of clients (partnerships where signed, small
company's where bought - garunteeing a client base to start) and this
product would have been built almost entirly with DynAPI.. I had already
replaced more thatn half of there widgets with DynAPI, and was 80% complete
building a "Nestcape" version of their software entirely of DynAPI.

Long story short.. DynAPI and it's use can go far.. but only if we take it
there.
