I am having a problem where I am dragging a layer, then when it's time to snap, I want to setLocation to the new coordinates. The layer move fine, but the mouse doesn't. The effect is that the layer temporarily snaps to the proper location, but with the mouse button still down, and dragging, the layer then snaps back under the mouse cursor. While it's in the snap-zone, the layer flickers back and forth between where I want it to be, and where the mouse cursor is located (onmove events still firing because the mouse button is still down and it's still dragging).
Is there a way to move the mouse cursor to the proper location (this would be the ideal solution)? Or force the mouse to act like the button was released? Tried firing a ondragend event but it didn't work. This solution would create another problem of choppy snappiness, where you'd have to reclick and start dragging after every snap, but it'd be better than flickering. Leif P.S. I can post the example to the list or on a website, but not sure if/how to make CVS changes or submit a patch. ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Dynapi-Dev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/
