The insertChild() function was also modified from insertChild(c,usebp) to insertChild(c,pos, usbp).canExample:
dynapi.document.insertChild(lyr,'relative');

I can't get ns4 to work relative positions, could someone take a look at the code to see if theymeanthelp?
I had put together a raw example to show what Ias I thought Raymond and Benoit were talking onlyaboutfixing an element in the window no matter what thescrollbar is..container
This example uses an <ilayer> to give the relativeand the normal <layer> for the absolute positionedchildrenin ns4. Any ideas how this could this be used withthe newsetPosition()?
The example is working great. What Raymond did should work, as long as getOuterHTML is updated for NS4 to output an iLayer if the position is relative.
Many thanks for the feedback. I've implemented the <ilayer> tag as suggested and it worked great.
Please see the attached file for the updates to dynlayer_ns4.js
Also, in _create for NS4, we could to test the position. If the position is relative, then the code would do a document.write() of the getOuterHTML
I can't see why we should do a document.write() after the page has been loaded. Relative layers should/can only be created before the page loads, correct? Would it be of any value to create relative laters after the page loads?
