Raymond This is easy to fix, then. All you have to do is to make the default background image a 1x1 GIF, for every layer. So if the user does not add content or provide her own background image, the layer will still be able to get events.
I don't have the code ready to show how to do this but it seems easy enough for someone who knows their way around the dynapi core code.. --JYL > This is a bug in IE.
