I've been fiddling around adding and deleting child layers (with both release
2.53 and the 2001_06_10 snapshot) and kept getting the error message "c is
permanent" pertaining to line 78 of dynapi.js, which is the final line
"delete c;" in the function DynObject.prototype.deleteChild . I'm using
Netscape Communicator 4.76 under Redhat Linux.
I put a semicolon at the end of line 77 and commented out line 78, and now it
seems to work for me. Is that good/bad/ugly? Will it now break for other
browsers?
