Just downloaded the DynAPI the other day and have been very happy with
the basic performance of it so far.  However, I went through one of the
tutorials on the site - it showed how to make a button widget - and it
was VERY different from how the actual button.js file looks, that I got
very confused.  For instance, it mentions the
'button.listener.onprecreate' function when, in reality, the function
appears to be 'listener.oncreate'.

I'm getting frustrated trying to develop my own widget because nothing
seems to work.  For instance, I toyed around trying to develop my own
widget and after about 4 hours I decided to simply copy the 'button.js'
file and name it 'widget.js' and changed all references to Button to
Widget.  It didn't work when I tried to create a Widget object in my JS
code.

Is there someone out there who has a good (comprehensive) tutorial on
how to create a widget?  The ins. The outs and everything in between.

I agree!  I tried also the api and was very interesting to used it in large projects that we are developping in my company, but I get back to "old" Dynamic duo api that is very well documented with one of the better tutorial on dynamic HTML.

I second you requirement and ask if there is someone able to write a user manuel for this API ?
I'm realy convinced that Dynapi could be a major api in web development only if end users can understand and used it very easily.

Eric.

Thanks in advance.
