Being that DHTL is Dynamic.. and you can load content into layers.. what
happens if you want to have a book mark on when items are loaded into
certain layers?

I'm trying to use the commands of "location.search" and "location.hash" for
something like this:

I want to use the "location.search" for the site layout.. in other words
when a user clicks on "Reviews" at www.gotapex.com/b0n3z the side windows
are aways the same for the Reviews. The only part that will change is the
center window. For example... if you go here:
www.gotapex.com/b0n3z/index.html?reviews it would take you to the reviews
page... but if you added a #cuv4x (a hardware review) after all that.. it
would take you to the reviews page.. then load the cuv4x review into the
center window. www.gotapex.com/b0n3z/index.html?reviews#cuv4x If you look at
the very end of the source on index.html you will see how I'm doing it. But
I need to figure out a function or something to make it all work. I only
have the start of it and it's not quite how it should be.

The original link to load the cuv4x into the center window is:
centerWindow.canvas.content.setURL('reviews/cuv4x/index.html')
rather than creating a javascript for each and every review.. I would think
it be best to somehow parse (I think this is the correct word) the
informartion retrieved from location.hash.
"centerWindow.canvas.content.setURL('reviews/" would always be the same.
"#cuv4x" is what is returned from location.hash - so somehow I would need to
take out the # symbol. Then I would have to add "/index.html')" - this would
always be the same also.

If ANYONE can help me please on this.. I would be very greatfull...

I'm planning on giving reference and reconition to all of you that have
helped me learn javascript and this awesome DynAPI.
Richard :o and others.. I'm not forgeting all the help.

Thanks again,

Ken Jones (aka b0n3z)
another wannabe javagod - but still a newbie
