Sure.. hide, then do a setTimeout to show the layer.
Or while sliding, hide the content layer and only show a border. Then when
done sliding, show the content again.

Is there a way to refresh the FORM/layer once it's done sliding?
I've only tested in NS4.76 sofar. Is this an inherent fault with using
FORMS?

I plan on having the form disappear onsubmit.

Also, a general Javascript question, will a FORM between DIV's still
function?

I have been reading through the list and figured out a lot.

any hints on preloading the inline layer before display.

Just some general FORM info would help a lot.

For instance, I have a rather large form with multiple hidden fields and
multiple points of submittal, the plan is to place these submittal
points in various sliding control panels as above. what's the best way
to access the form elements from the main page while in another layer.

I warned you about that newbie stuff.
