Howdy --
    Don't know if this is what you're looking for, but I'm attaching a work in progress -- two new classes (filecabinet and litelist), heavily borrowed from existing widgets ;-)  Filecabinet will give you the option of placing tabbed "Folders" across the top of your screen, or down the side (a la a navigation bar)... it's far from done and far from perfect, so feel free to play around with it...

Scott Andrew has one example at http://www.scottandrew.com/dhtml/tabwin/dynwidget.html but it appears to still be using DynAPI 1 or am I mistaken?
 
It be great with tabs for my DynBuilder webapplication GUI proposal. I haven't had time to try to implement them yet though...
