[Dynapi-Help] To destroy a widget

a hard question with a probably easy enough answer which I can't figure out just on 
the spot: 

How do I script to let a certain instance of a widget remove (ie destroy) itself from 
it's parent?

Anybody got a slick soloution or example...?
