Mac IE 4.5 is horrible to try to use for DHTML of any kind, DynAPI cannot do
much about that and therefore much of the API does not work in 4.5. I have
had rather good luck with IE5 on the Mac, most things work well. NS4.x on
the mac is mostly a lost cause, about the same as IE 4.5. If you get
something working in NS 4.x then there's about a 99.9% chance it will not
work on IE4.5. NS6 on the Mac seems to behave exactly the same as its'
Windows counterpart. Bottom line, if you have to use Mac stick to IE5 and
NS6. The memory footprint of IE5 is smaller than 4.5 though it still
appears to do a few things slower. The mem footprint for NS6 is freaking
enormous on the Mac. There's most of the Mac data I have...

(so much changes every day)

There is no REAL Opera support .. at least not universally.
three.. this is a 'work in progress' and you will come across bugs now and
then.
But PLEASE don't be afraid to tell us about them.
If it is already known, then people will work harder to fix it.
If it is NOT known then you'll have done a great service to the cause.

For the most part, the dynAPI 2 is relatively stable on:
<on the PC>
IE 4.5
IE 50.
IE 5.5 (some problems.. but hten, it's a crappy browser)
NS 4.76 (seems to be the lowest NS commenly in use be the DynAPI team.

NS 6 - we have partial support.. but this is always changeing as NS6 is a
VERY unstable browser which was released a Year too soon.. (they should have
spent WAY more time finishing it before trying to market it)
I can't speak for the MAc users tho..
