Just received
another question about this aswell, so..
I think the basic
idea is that you can:
1) create a website
that utitilises the DynAPI2 library
2) if you make
changes/modifications/updates/etc to the dynapi code you should provide these
free of charge to the "dynapi" project and people asking for
it
3) when requested
you should provide people with the dynapi library or point them to the site
containing the dynapi.
I think those are
the main points needed .. not sure if it's 100% correct so hopefully some one
else can give some info as well.. I will then include the LGPL info in the FAQ
in short (not the full LGPL) and in simple language referencing to the LGPL for
the full text.

Onderwerp: [Dynapi-Help] Presentation...I'm doing a presentation this evening on the DynAPI to my company. We're mostly a Java consulting firm, but we do a fair amount of DHTML to satisfy customer desires. I want to explain the GNU license requirements for using the DynAPI. Where is that succinctly explained? I'm also looking for a few examples to show that load quickly. I am already planning to show: 1. Dan Steinman's Tetris (to show the old DynAPI) 2. A project I built that kludged the DynAPI 1 list (as a menu) and the calendar widget. And using DynAPI 2: 3. The DC DynAPI Button Menu Test <http://www.merlinsworld.net/dynapitest/im06.shtml> 4. A simple list (menu) I built: <http://pweb.netcom.com/~amukamal/BWG/BWGFrames.html> 5. The very cool L a s M e n i n a s by IlMaestro <http://www.cantir.com/meninas/parallax.html> 6. The Treenode widget demo <http://www.dynamic-core.net/widgetx/examples/core.gui.skintreenode.htm> Any other quick loading DynAPI 2 widgets that are easy to show off? Especially: **Tables** Calendar Calculator
Thanks, Alan
PS Its kind of crude, but if anyone is interested in my power point file when I am done, just let me know.
