I think the confusion arose from a misunderstanding, the "New Loadpanel" is new to people upgrading from the last official release, which did not contain a loadpanel. For the developers it is in fact the very same loadpanel we've been using in the snapshots for a while, and as the NS6 bugfixes have been kept for after this release, so as not to break other things, it has not had any of the posted fixes applied yet.

That's how I understand it.

Nobody told me there was a known browser bug.
I was told 'new loadpanel. fixed'
Pardon me for being dissapointed.

Now. It seems to crash IE5.0. Period.
Also in IE5.5 when you call I find the window tends to 'die'
if you call seturl after it has been inited and then resize it.
It goes blank and will not load a page no matter what.

so after long hours of trying and coding and testing you finally gave up on trying to fix it your self  as you figured there we're coding gods out there that can make work arounds for even the biggest browser bugs or problems, and they can do that with big smiles in a shorter time period then you could ever possible get it working..

yet these coding gods forget to test it on all those millions of system configurations in the world and thus the code doesn't work on your humble machine...strangly this does not spawn the urge for you to actually make a better effort and really fix the code becoming more or less a coding god your self.

strange how these humans work..

So, like, what's new about the 'new' loadpanel?
it still aborts downloads.

go to menu1
click on info.
There should be a big picture of a building on the right.
Doesn't anyone test their code?!?!
and no, running it off your scsi hardrive on you P3800mhz does NOT count as testing.
