Adding css borders isn't really cross-browser AFAIK, you could do this
(untested):
scrollobj.css.borderWidth="2px"
scrollobj.css.borderColor="lightsalmon"
scrollobj.css.borderStyle="solid"
To remain cross-browser you could also place the scrollpane on top of a
slightly larger dynlayer of a different color, and
use scrollobj.setBgColor('green') to make the scroll nontransparent.
