Not sure why you feel this way, seeing that the DynAPI IS the thing we're
trying to complete, and the only way to complete it is by making sure DHTML
can work cross-browser/platform. There are many problems however, that I
think all of the developers work on Win32 machines.. meaning : no Mac/Linux
test capabilities. At best we use all win32 browsers.. unlikely though,
because try getting IE4, IE5 and IE5.5 installed on one system.

We ARE very open about bugs, but I feel there's to much discussion from
people about WHY this isn't working, WHEN will that be working.. hello!? you
have the source code.. fix it. We can't simply solve everybug we hear about
or know about. There's a very valid reason why companies that supply this
kind of support are asking money for it.. we're not, we're doing this for
fun.

the browsers used by the developers of the widgets. Now that probably is no
help for you at all, but that's the reality.

which requests? If you want tests.. do them, publish your findings here in
the opensource DynAPI community..people will love you for it.

recently added this topic to the faq.. but most of this stuff can be found
in this mailing list or the archives.. or trying it for your self, that's
how we all find workarounds or fixes: trying and testing.

your an idiot (just joking! :)

You should have seen the beginning of this project: nothing there, just
Dan's beginning of a new dynlayer object. I think Jordi already stated this:
we can't do all development AND documentation with only a few active
developers (not sure at this point, but I think there are maybe 5 developers
max working on the actual code and trying to get things done.. not counting
the people doing widgets on there own and stuff, but just the core
dynapi+widgets+documentation+help-sites)

We learn the code by looking at it, studying it (almost a relegion :) .. so
why can't you ? that's how to learn things, there is no documentation, no
manual, no "book for dummies", just the free code.

Patches and bugs can be submitted to sourceforge..that's the best place and
easiest for developers to browse thru, posting them to this mailing list
might make them get lost.

Maybe the chat channel could be opened again (as I was talking about a few
weeks ago). People could use efnet#dynapi for chatting and faster responses
to things.. it wouldn't be that hard. So I encourage everyone interested in
this DynAPI to take mIRC (or other program) connect to an efnet server, and
join channel #dynapi.. If there's no-one there wait a bit, people might
eventually pop-in.
