Take a look at the draggingAnotherLayer.htm example here
http://www.resass.f2s.com/?menu=examples&node=1
these effects are not cross-browser though, unless you find a css property
that's supported by both browsers.
Click on the "run Diagnose" link at the top of most of my examples, type the
name of a layer from that page, and click on "css contains xxx properties"
link.
It show a list of all available css properties, depending on which browser
you are using.
