Hi all.
I've just recently fallen into this DynAPI product... Love it.
I've gotten the Jan. 25, 2001 release.
I've got most of my website started, but I'm running into problems.
The particulars are:
1. Static menu bar (like the geocities) stuck to the bottom. I have this
working. It floats and stays on the bottom of the page throughout
scrolling, but need to find an example of resizing the window/static menu
bar.
2. drop down menu system within the static bar. I'm using the popup example
from Dan Steinman I found at www.richardinfo.com as a template. I can't
seem to figure out how to get sub-menus to work, and how to manage the
'link'/location of the items on the list.
3. Positional elements. I've had a RUDE awakening from NS, and it's
positional elements. I've had to switch to using absolute positioned to
make NS work. It's shredded the entire website to crap in NS. IE looks
like a dream.
Could someone PLEASE demonstrate a simple example of this to me?? I have
source code and screen captures available if requested.
