There are two different things here,
A) NS4 has a bug when you resize the browser, i.e. maximize it, either you
have to re-create your page (with a slight delay from a setTimeout to
prevent crashing), or re-load it from the server.
B) NS4 has another bug, you can't change the size of an image after the
browser has rendered it. AFAIK DynImage remedies this by writing a new
layercontent, of a new image with the new size. This isn't *very* efficient,
but good enough for most use.
This should still be working as normal in NS, I tested on NS4.08
