As for modifying getContentHeight/width,
The easyiest way would be:
(psudo code: can you tell I'm a VB coder at heart? hehe)
getContentHeight{
bigy=0
For each layer in children[]
if layer.top + layer.height > bigy then
bigy = layer.top+layer.height
end if
next
return bigy;
}
