winME/IE5.5 DSL connection.
I couldn't get the figure to move, and the first row of images didn't all
load. The interface only shows if I click on the last figure.
A good resource for JavaScript games is http://www.javascript-games.org/ ,
they also have an API specially designed for games.
Of course you could do this better in flash, and that would be a fine
learning project in itself, but that's no reason not to do it in DHTML, this
kind of thing lets you test the limits of the browsers.
I don't know what causes the click problem (as the layer doesn't move at all
for me), but maybe a cover layer might help, or something like the
anti-image-selecting code for IE:
document.body.onselectstart = function() { return false }
To stop layers becoming selected.
Or maybe something like document.body.onblur= function(){
document.body.focus}...
just thinking.
Cheers,
Richard Bennett
