Yeah, I am a little disappointed in that one myself.  They did work before with minor problems, so they can most likely be fixed.

Looks like we lost functionality in NS on Mac too (pushpanel, scrollpane, scrollbar), went from yellow to orange.  Pretty much disables Dyn2 on Mac altogether, whereas before we had NS4 as a fallback that just limped a little.

PS, I am back.  I was making alot of network changes and installing some new development PC's.

Cheers,

Raymond

Subject: [Dynapi-Help] Compatibility Matrix Updated

Okay all,

I have the current results in.  For the most part 2.51 has been an overall improvement.  We apparently lost all support for Mac IE 4.5??  I don’t know when/why this happened but it now seems to behave the same as Opera 5.01.  I had hoped for a little more lovin in the Macintosh area.  I do have to admit that the core pieces of the API work great on the Mac.  It’s the GUI and EXT stuff that need a little attention.  Anyway, here’s the URL.  This is a new URL and the old one will forward for a while.  Please update your bookmarks.  This new machine is actually in my department sitting on a T1 instead of my home DSL connection.

My department thinks the Matrix is worth having so I’ll actually get paid to maintain it.  Well, sorta

There is also a link to the 2001.01.25 matrix so that you can compare.

I added another color to the chart.  With NS 4.04 We now have “Produces JS Error, but still works…”  This must be something that is easy to fix.  All the errors say is “Function does not return a value…”.

Anyway, hope you all find this useful,
