Thanks a lot, the solution seems to be very hard for my site nature but at
least now I'm sure that the problem is layer dimmension; I think in my case
could be easier to take each image size from an image editor (i.e. gimp) and
then specify directly the width and height properties when creating the layer.
Hope it works.
I'll take a look to your example anyway.
