the frame onload won't fire for some reason. it only seems to work when a
page is initially loaded, but doesn't fire for subsequent page loads.
what you need to do is put an onload in the body tag of the page returned by
your cgi that calls your javascript function you want. remember you will
have to target the function as it will be in another document.
