Please help! I'm totally stuck. :-\
I have a customer that owns Macs only. I have created a Site-Design which is
based on the following DynAPI-Elements:
* the API :-) ... DynDocuments are needed since the site will be using a
frameset
* Event-Listeners & Mouse-Events
* Thread & PathAnim for some animations
* DynImage for Image handling
* Label & ViewPort for some DHTML-Scrolling of content
* Inline layers would be very nice, but are no must.
Unfortunately, the current DynAPI 2.52 crashes NS4.77 on my Test-Mac (an old
PowerMac 7200/90) when using onmouseup-events to set "location.href" of a
frame (sometimes it works, but I can't change the frame's content more than
up to 5 times). In IE 5.0 setting "location.href" works fine, but when
unloading the page, it reports several errors. I tried to solve these
problems for a week now and really need some input. :-\
So I have two basic questions:
* which DynAPI version works "best" with either NS4 or IE5 on a Mac?
* is DynAPI the "right" tool for a site that must run under MacOS or is it
advisable to go some other way? If so, what would you do??? :-)
