Hi there

I have had no end of problems with events in NS 4.x. It seems the
problem is twofold:

1: The Netscape event model flows from browser to object (e.g. link),
whereas IE flows from object to browser.
2: There is a bug in mouse.js

I have attached a sample file and the corrected mouse.js. Seems to work
pretty well. I have NS 4.73. You will notice that although the onclick
handler for the link does fire it doesn't get captured. I think the
reason for this is that the 'target' for a onclick for a link is
actually the document - not the layer the link is in. I'm not sure how
to force an onclick for the layer - any ideas?

Let me know if this solves your problem.

Cheers

Chris

elements

It's partially fixed in the current snapshot, only fails in widgets at
the
moment, I posted a test case html as a bugreport, but this hasn't been
fixed
yet.

I'll be happy to host your help html (just mail it), unless you think it
's
better together with the other documentation on the DynAPI site.

Cheers,
