layer loading stuff - understood. a bit trickier then what i was
expecting, but it's okay.

joe, right here i need to do a simple mouse rollover - just to switch
one image with another, WHICH i preloaded beforehand.
preload/imageswapping is still a great mystery to me. no examples AT
ALL. Richard ones are about "we make a layer, we write some data to
it". i do not intend to write anything to a layer, as i wrote in a
reply to Richard's email, a <div><a><img></a></div> solution is best
for my needs, just when the resulting code would be editable and
wouldn't, for example, spoil any wysiwyg. i do editing in three
editors - homesite, dreamweaver and notepad - just cause it's all
about js+html+css+php4, so i need different levels of control WHILE
maintaining a NONDESTRUCTIVE layout :)
