I am looking for clarification of the licensing issues around the use of
DynAPI in non-free products (specifically sections 5 and 6 of the LGPL and
how they pertain to scripted languages like JavaScript).
I am looking to develop a bespoke application for a client. He wishes to
own the copyright to (the bespoke elements of) the software. The software
is a web based tool that makes heavy use of DHTML/DynAPI. The client wishes
to sell copies of the software (bundled with DynAPI) to his clients.
I think this scenario falls within the bounds of the license, but I would
appreciate confirmation or denial (particularly from an active contributor
to the DynAPI code).
