I think I solved my own problem (or avoided it). The Netscape z-index
problem (described earlier in this thread) is not an issue when using Chris
Shreve's new lighter scrollpane that has been the topic of much discussion
in this forum as of late.

I do have some minor issues with this widget (scrolling in Mac NS 4.72
doesn't play nice [i.e. doesn't seem to work], the scrollbar doesn't adjust
when the content gets larger). If I come up with any fixes/suggested
workarounds, I'll post back to the forum.
Anybody have any ideas about the Mac button thing? If I can't figure it out,
I'll be back.... :-)
