Hi, firstly, I'm not speaking for the Dynapi-Team.

Using a complex js-api like Dynapi without having looked at the source and having grasped a slight understanding of the internals is negligent and dangerous for your client. Dynapi and all the other JS-apis aren't the Microsoft Foundation Classes or the Java SWING api. Due to the nature of web-development (50% is finding workarounds for Browser bugs and incompatibilities) you'll have to get in touch with the source - sooner or later. But that shouldn't be a problem, any decent developer will be able to aquire the necessary knowledge by reading the tutorials, imitating the examples, looking at the source and asking on this mailing list. "Drag and Drop" developers should better stick to Dreamweaver and Co. Just my 0.02 Euro.
