No, they aren't saying *you* are brain-dead. And it's not even OE that's brain-dead (it has "Reply" and "Reply to all" functions). These issues (and arguments over what is "proper" mailing-list reply-to config) were around long before Outlook Express existed. And for the record, my personal preference is that the mailing list should set up the headers so that replies automatically go back to the list.
