I am experiencing the unusual behavior with IE6.0 that if the actual HTML document or any other created layer, contains a <SELECT> tag, that this select item appears to be on the top, no matter what the ZIndexes may be of all layers involved.
To be more clear, I have a visible layer A which is completely hidden by layer B, which has a higher Z-Index. Everything in A is not visible due to B, except for the <SELECT> items in layer A, which are quite visible--they just stick through B. Anyone else experiencing this?
