Yes, if you want to get technical and non-crossbrowser
specific, some browsers support it. Only reason I
don't mention it is that it in effect makes no
difference to the loadpanel, since the whole idea with
dynapi is to be cross-browser supporting. 

The question was not of the sort that was after who to
blame , so I thought it be unnecessary to take it
there... :P
