I haven't actually looked at the code yet but i do believe that
enableBlackboard creates two child layers in your layer, one which covers the
content and is transparent, and one which contains the content.
The the various functions such as sethtml and gethtml are redirected to the
"blackboard" layer (content layer) as well as setsize, ect, resulting in the
containing layer, the cover layer and the blackboard layer being resized at
the same time
Basically it's to make a layer's content non-selectable and non-clickable
without the devealoper having to do more than myLayer.enableBlackboard();
before EnableBlackboard()
