Loki, I did finally figure out Eterm... the problem was partially my zlib stuff, I had an older version, so i got 1.1.2 and finally figured it out... then after a long while I got Imlib 1.3 to compile with the least amount of errors that it would still work with and thus far it has done fine ( my prob with Imlib was that I still had version 1.0 installed and was just installing over it... ) next i realized I had to recompile Eterm and eplus with these new libs and found out that Eterm DR7 5 wouldn't work any more with the newer libs. so I worked through the makefiles in DR8pre6 after the configure script told me "You have no hope whatsoever of getting me to work again" and it compiled with only the tiff error I believe... BUT it works so I'm happy again. Now my LAST ( YEAH RIGHT ) problem is that the configure script in eplus DR10 believes I have an incompatible Imlib version but I'm pretty sure plenty of people are using Imlib 1.3 with it. Mr_Happy and epoch helped me with the lib problems I've fixed so far so I'm getting there. You did figure it all out right?
