Hey all--
I'm an extreme newbie to the world of Enlightenment, so please go easy
on me.
I've just downloaded E version 0.13.3 onto a FreeBSD 2.2.6 box and it
installed just fine. I went through the Documentation -> Testing (and
Installing) required components list on rasterman.com without a hitch,
yet when I try to start up E, I get the following error:
Wrong JPEG library version: library is 61, caller expects 62
This occurs when using the DEFAULT theme, right after the Desktops
Initialization button appears.
I've dug through the mailing list archive on Rasterman.com, but have
yet to find anything on this error. (and yes, I'll keep looking, as
I'm only on page 48 of 122. (-!)
I call E using the following from my .xinitrc and startx.
exec /usr/X11R6/bin/enlightenment
Any help would be greatly appreciated...Enlightenment looks to be the
desktop environment I've always wanted, and never knew existed.
Thanks,
Bryan Albright
