getting enlightenment

Ok just upgraded Redhat to version 5.1 from 4.2   it installed its own
imlib..(the newest one) then i recompiled my 12.6 and then ran
enlightenment, and got the old black screen and x cursor and nothing
else. any hints??

also (when is 0.14 coming out?? please,please,please;-) )
