Well,
I got all excited about trying E 0.14. So I went and got the source
and ran the configure script for E and it complained that I didn't have
some *.so libraries. I'm running AIX 4.2. I have no .so libs on my
machine. I build everything statically linked using gcc (mainly because
I have never been able to build shared (*.so) libraries). E 0.13 ran
great with linking in *.a libs. So, I was wondering if there are plans
to modify the configure script and makefiles in E0.14 to be able to
build with statically linked libs?
