Hi all,

I'm new here, but I must say I was very impressed with DR13, and while I
haven't had chance to take a peek at DR14, I'm sure it'll be of an equal
standard.

I just thought I'd throw a couple of ideas into the mixing pot as I'm
used to people biting my head off and calling me stupid, so dont mind it
on the internet. When I was little I used to have a little Acorn
Archimedes (let me finish), and while it's a little dated now, it still
had some very good ideas. I particularly liked the way the filer
worked, where you could just drag files around all over the place (like
Win95 [spit] is trying to copy now), and when you wanted to save you
could just drag the file from a save box to a filer window and it'd take
care of the rest.

Ok, so I'm ranting and probably not altogether with it, and yes it could
probably be done as a seperate thing to the windows manager, but it's
something I've always missed, and if it was part of the windows manager
then it might help it to be a more integral part of E applications.

Not impressed? How about this one then. Would it be possible to have a
hot key which zoomed out of the desktop, showing all the virtual
desktops on screen, then being able to hit a hot key again to zoom back
in. Whilst zoomed out you could move windows around and generally do
stuff, before zooming back in on the area of your choice.

Just a thought.

Well take care and keep up the good work,

Chris
