I don't think you understand what I am getting at. The fact that you can
handle your limited number of transactions and figure it out may have to do
with the fact that you don't have that many transactions, or that you just
like e-gold enough to justify the time and expense.
The same goes for me.
However, if you are a "serious" business and thinking of using e-gold, it is
really hard to justify it. If you do any more than a few transactions a
day, you will really need to retain another bookkeeper for a few more hours
a week to handle the accounting work. And if you are larger company, it
could involve hiring a new staff member or members to handle the accounting
requirements. And when you look at the e-gold world it is just not worth
it.
I know e-gold wants to be seen as something more than just a bunch of wackos
chasing after every new scam on the internet, but really I think that is the
only reasonable market for e-gold. There is the small numbers of us who
utilize the few services available for e-gold, URL registry, Amazon
purchases, etc. But they are few and far between. There is very little
motivation for an established legitimate tax paying business to change
and/or increase its accounting burden for the very limited amount of
business that e-gold will bring in.
