Most of your questions either have been answered or would be better
answered by an attorney (and I'm not one). Any of the tax/jurisdictional
ones are lawyers-only, but the form of your question (and my answer)
can bring up something that's on topic for the list, besides quoting the
right entity when you're quoting an entity...
NOT quoting the entire message back to email lists every time you reply
saves bandwidth, increases your signal-to-noise ratio dramatically so
that folks aren't as likely to killfile you and more-likely to read what you
wrote, and is considerate to those who choose to receive this list in a
digest format. I'll quote the list owner's words that we all received upon
signup and perhaps didn't read carefully:
>3. Cite only those portion of previous posts pertinent to the points
>you wish to make or the questions you wish to ask. If it's not worth
>your time to make this effort, then don't post. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
(My own emphasis added.) I don't mean to pick on markab23, since
he's not the worst offender, but folks, the technology to be considerate
to others and save list.bandwidth is _THERE_, in your email programs.
Please, figure it out and use it! There are/were interesting people on
this list, and I say "were" because yes, some of them have been driven
off by the increasing noise-level. Thanks in advance for helping me to
end this problem.
