I'm the only "powers that be" that I'm aware of on the e-gold-list (I try
not to let it go to my head). I thought your post was entertaining and even
topical given some of the recent discussion on the list.
Bear in mind use of the string "egoldlist" in one's e-mail address does not
confer ownership rights. However, it's not likely your critic was
attempting to appear to be such - he probably just uses that address to
receive e-gold-list.
Lest this post be construed as a criticism of [EMAIL PROTECTED], I
should also mention that his opinion is welcome.

No scam rule as of yet. I will say that the first 3 posts of new
subscribers are moderated and if they are shilling an "opportunity", their
free expression is generally nipped in the bud.
I will consider making a new rule if the list starts sounding too much like
a [you probably know which URL] forum. However, for the moment, the
occasional shill is the ideal butt for jokes such as yours.
