After a long search for a way to fund my e-gold account with credit card,
and reading of the sufferings of TG and others who tried the same, I wish to
put on record the excellent service I received last week from Gold Pouch
Express, who not only accepted my Malaysian credit card, but put e-gold into
my account within a matter of hours only!
I needed a small amount of e-gold (to test my interface with e-gold server
on my new site which will deliver instant online reports). I could not find
any market maker on the list provided on e-gold's site who could take a
credit card from a new account. Then on golddirectory.com I found Gold Pouch
Express (www.goldpouchexpress.com) and filled in my order. They said they
would call to confirm but I
was skeptical that they would call long-distance to Malaysia. They did - and
accepted the order. Their rate: 13%.
All in, it took about 12 hours for my e-gold account to be funded.
Roger Savoie of Gold Pouch Express said they would have no problems
accepting any international order by Visa card if the details the customer
filled on their online order form matched what is on their credit card file
in the bank, and if they are able to contact the customer by phone to
confirm the order. So here is one market-maker to turn to if you're
encountering problems elsewhere. Gold Pouch Express are willing to accept
your credit card with minimal hassle; they don't insist that you must be in
the US or
done business with them before, nor ask you to fax your credit card and id
to them - and their service is cheaper and faster than those who insist so.
Let's hope their example spurs the competition.
