I would suggest e-gold and market makers post something like this on their sites. http://home.earthlink.net/~fitz22/may.html (--> Please send me suggestions and I am thinking about a column for pros and cons.) Why? To manage other's expectations and educate them. Having a comparison of what's going on gives people confidence. Also, since the current main issue seems to be the wait to get money into an account, just educate clients that: (modified from JP May's post) "Keep in mind that funding a new BANK ACCOUNT is just as difficult as buying e-gold. When you open a stock brokering account at etrade or whatever, you certainly cannot get funds there instantly -- your options are wire and wait days, bank check or cashier's check and wait a week or a personal check and wait a couple of weeks. My market maker company is just like these other types of firms: we have to wait for the money to positively clear before we can fund your account." We are linking something unfamiliar with something familiar. (I think it is called 'normalizing'. Since we basically make one to one contact with new e-golders, we might as well educate them while we are at it. jf --- You are currently subscribed to e-gold-list as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
