I can envision a future where e-gold rivals Western Union as a means of
international money moving. e-gold as a company should consider marketing
itself to those little check cashing places that are all over the damn
place. Customers would pay cash for their e-gold for a small fee. Couple
that with e-gold's puny spend fee, and the lower overall fees would kick
Western Union's butt!

I can't see this requiring more than a public computer terminal and
minimal computer literacy on the parts of both the customer and the
employee of the check cashing place. This could be made even simpler by
the issuance of individual passcards for e-gold accounts, which could then
be swiped at the POS.

This is a realistic possibility, and IMO it would be the cheapest and
fastest way to introduce e-gold to the masses.

Does anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Chris
