Dear Friends,

No sweat, Dave. Spend MetalProxy as much e-gold as you want,
funded from your GoldMoney holding, via Cambist.net.
http://www.Cambist.net/ Our rates are so low, it's like
you're getting our service free, only a little bit better for
us.

Okay. A friend of mine, John Perry, was killed when the
World Trade Center collapsed. So, I am in sympathy with
people who are upset by recent events in New York City.

Having observed that the Red Cross has taken hundreds of
millions of donations, and has been very remiss in its
dedication to use those funds to help the survivors of
the maniacs-on-planes, I'm not willing to give even one
ten thousandth of a gram of gold to the Red Cross.

I also won't donate blood. All these shortages of blood
are due to the foolish intervention in the market for blood
and blood products. Blood would be readily available and
cheap if it were bought and sold like other products. It
is groups like the Red Cross which use their unwarranted
influence over government which prevent the free market from
working in the blood supply. I suspect that the "Red" in
Red Cross has as much to do with their socialist sympathies
as it does with any customs relating to the Knights of the
Red Cross.

Curious. So, his reward is public adulation. Not exactly the
spirit of altruism, but, okay.

I wonder if alms giving would be a better thing if it were
done anonymously.

Wow. Quite an ambition for a 7-year-old. When I was his
age, I collected aluminum cans from dumpsters and turned in
bottles for the deposit. Of course, that was long ago and
far away. Heaven forfend anyone should try to compete with
the urban light metal entrepreneurs.

Hence my response here rather than there. For whatever it
may be worth.

If he promises to read the entire book, I'll ship him a
copy of _Atlas Shrugged_ on his 13th birthday.

Regards,
