This is from the Evo-Cash website: "INTEREST - Starting June 2001 On all credit balances held on your Evocash account you will receive interest at the rate of 9% per year (calculated at 0.75% on the average balance held on the account during the month). Interest will be automatically added to your account on the first of each month. :"
Questions: 1) An interest rate of 0.75% per month, as advertised, equates to 9.4% per year. 0.72% per month equates to 9% per year. Which is it? 2) How can any legitimate business make this kind of commitment? Such sloppy accounting and bold promises do not inspire confidence in this enterprise.
