Hi Jay,

A few more remarks about Euro...

The emails sent by the SCI contain a value of gold in USD per Ounce. It would
be quite useful to also have, or perhaps choose to receive as an alternative,
the value of gold in Euro per Ounce. I currently get this value elsewhere,
but it would be handier to get it with the payment in one signed-for and
timestamped package.

To please the tax officer, we Dutch must calculate the value of e-gold's
`foreign currency' in terms of `real money' at the moment we get paid.
And of course, `real money' means Euro's nowadays. It's going to be a more
convincing and simpler administration towards them if the ingredients of the
calculation are contained along with the payment notification.

My payment processor is operating so smoothly that I'm now working on an
automated bookkeeping extension, that's why ;-)

Ehm... just saw that the German merchants are ignoring the date when DEM is
no longer a legal tender. I suppose exchanging currencies at the instant of
new year is a bit harsh, indeed. You may want to take a similar stand in this
matter, so my "should" was a tad too strong. I assumed that all countries
would do it as the Dutch, but that is foolish of course... it assumes unison
in Europe!

Looking forward to trade in golden Euro's,

Rick van Rein.
