> How about a Goldhub?

The name needs to be 'gold grams' or 'grams of gold'. One of the reasons
that nation-states were able to remove their local currencies from the
gold-standard so easily was because local currency names became
disassociated with gold, though they were technically defined as gold and
silver. In the first part of the 20th century, a dollar was defined as a
specific weight of gold. But, by the time that the dollar was taken off of
the gold standard, people had forgotten what a dollar was; they had
disassociated the dollar with gold, in their minds. So, if we get people
into the habit of calling this currency what it really is, a 'gram of gold',
then people will always know that the currency IS that which backs it --
gold.
